New Brunswick is the only Maritime province without a province-wide short-term rental licensing framework, so rules are set city by city. Fredericton is currently the only municipality with a specific bylaw on the books; Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, Saint John, and Bathurst have no local STR licensing requirement today, though that can change as councils continue to study the issue. Dieppe does not currently have a short-term rental licensing bylaw of its own.
