Guest support standard across our stays

Saint John is New Brunswick's only city on the Bay of Fundy, and Uptown Saint John — its historic centre — punches well above its weight for a city its size: art galleries like Trinity, Citadel, and Handworks, a genuinely walkable street grid, and roughly 80 cruise ship calls a year bringing visitors straight into the port.

We don't currently operate a listed vacation rental in Saint John, but the combination of tourism traffic, cruise-season demand, and a walkable Uptown core makes it a strong candidate for our next managed-stay location.

If you're planning a Saint John visit before we open a local listing, our downtown Moncton suites are about an hour and a half away and run on the same hospitality standard.

Market Insight

A tourism economy with room to grow

Saint John's tourism sector brought in hundreds of millions in visitor spending even before the province's recent tourism boom, driven heavily by cruise season and Uptown's arts and culture scene — demand that a professionally managed short-term rental portfolio is well positioned to serve.

Know the Rules

No local licensing requirement — yet

New Brunswick is the only Maritime province without a province-wide short-term rental licensing framework, so rules are set city by city. Fredericton is currently the only municipality with a specific bylaw on the books; Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, Saint John, and Bathurst have no local STR licensing requirement today, though that can change as councils continue to study the issue. Saint John currently has no short-term rental bylaw.
